NSW: Motorist hits pedestrians on footpath
SYDNEY, April 20 AAP - Three people were injured when a car mounted the footpath and
hit pedestrians at peak hour in central Sydney today.
An ambulance spokesman said the accident happened about 7.15am (AEST) when a red Holden
Commodore mounted the footpath and hit several people at the intersection of Eddie Avenue
and Elizabeth Street.
Three people, including the driver, were injured in the accident. Two of them required
hospital treatment.
