NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 2000
The Wall Street Transcript has published an in-depth interview with David Wilkerson, CEO, and John Van Heel, CFO, both at Logisoft (OTC BB: LGST), in which they talk at length about the company's future.
The entire 3,600-word interview is available free online at http://www.twst.com/ceos.htm
Wilkerson gives an overview of the company. "Logisoft was formed in 1989 as a software and hardware solution provider, mainly in the educational area for kindergarten through 12th grade, and some college as well. This business is now known as Logisoft Computer Products. Logisoft Interactive, which is the Web development group, was started in 1996. That's the basis of where the company is today."
Van Heel explains, "We have our global e-business platform that enables e-commerce in more than 50 countries. This summer we launched the Japanese site for the Sentry Group, so now a Japanese citizen can go to the site, see it in Japanese, and buy online in yen. Today, the market for e-business globalization is very large and growing, so there are opportunities for a number of players."
Looking forward, Wilkerson states, "We're pursuing our vision to develop a suite of products that will make it easy for companies to target global markets on the Internet. We're going to expand our presence nationally in the major US cities. Continuing with Saatchi & Saatchi as a preferred partner is another strategic card. Saatchi's Rochester office is bringing its client base to Logisoft for Internet development work. We're definitely going to expand and further tighten that relationship."
This interview is part of a 79-page e-Finance Issue available at http://www.twst.com/info/info201.htm or by calling (212) 952-7433.
