LIBRARY OFFERS YOUTH PROGRAMS

The Oswego Public Library District, 32 W. Jefferson St., offers several youth programs in February.To reserve a space for a program, call the Youth Services desk at (630) 554-3150.
• Saturday-Afternoon Specials -- Program for second- to fourth-graders explores themes with stories, food and fun.

February's theme is "Blue." Program meets at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Registration is required.
• I Can Read -- Program rewards each first-grader who reads one page of a library book to a Youth Services staff person before April 22.
• Munch and Trivia -- Program for fifth- and sixth-graders explores the world with trivia, fun and snacks.

Program meets at 4 p.m. Feb. 25. Registration is required.
• Internet for Kids -- Program for third- to eighth-graders offers instruction on basic Internet search techniques and strategies.

Call Youth Services to schedule a session.
• Friday-Night Stories -- Program featuring stories and films are held in the Youth Services area at 7 p.m. Feb. 18 and 25. All ages are welcome.

No registration required.
